We have two cabins for guests to enjoy at Brown County Woods.  The first one you will come to when entering the property we have named "Cottage".  It is a cedar siding cottage that was built in 1880.  It was the original structure on the land and was completely remodeled in 2024 with a full kitchen and a modern bathroom (although the outhouse behind the cottage remains for those seeking adventure).

The Cabin was originally built in the early 1800's and the main structure is made of hand hewn logs.  During the 1980's, the owner of the property had horses and moved the cabin from its original location about 50 miles away to this location here.  Although it has a very rustic feel, it has many modern amenities like central heat and a/c and also city water hooked up.  The cabin also has a main fireplace, a wood burning stove, and a wood burning cooking stove/oven.  If you want to really feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere, this is the place!
